Chelsea Clinton to Attend Fashion Show Fundraiser in Tribeca Thrown by Anna
Wintour and Huma Abedin

Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Huma Abedin, vice chairwoman of Hillary
Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, are co-hosting a fashion show and rooftop
party Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Spring Studios in Tribeca. The event is a fundraiser
for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential effort under the Hillary Victory Fund
umbrella.

The “Made for History Fashion Show & Rooftop Party” features special
guest Chelsea Clinton and a special performance by Demi Lovato.

The event is set to kick off New York Fashion Week, which begins Wednesday at
9 a.m. with shows from Adeam, Cinq á Sept and Jeffrey Dodd. Those interested in
New York Fashion Week can follow along with a live stream of various runway

Clinton has a sizable lead in New York state with the most recent Real Clear
Politics New York poll from Aug. 30 putting the Democrat ahead in the
presidential race with 52.3 percent support versus 33 percent for Republican
nominee Donald Trump. Both candidates carried the state in their respective
primaries.

Event co-host Abedin announced last week that she was leaving her husband
Anthony Weiner following his most recent texting scandal. Abedin has a long
history of working with Clinton. She was previously an assistant during
Clinton's 2008 run for president and served as the Secretary of State's deputy
chief of staff from 2009 to 2013, working under Clinton.

Lovato was in the news in late August for artistic rather than personal
reasons: The indie rock band Sleigh Bells filed a lawsuit claiming that Lovato's
2015 hit "Stars" sampled their 2010 song "Infinity Guitars" without permission,
