背景


製造業界は少子高齢化による人手不足が進む中、急速な市場ニーズの変化に伴い製品ライフサイクルの短縮化が顕著になっています。このような状況下では、生産性の向上、特に上流工程である設計スピードの向上が非常に重要な鍵となってきます。現在、設計においては3D技術の普及が進んでいるものの、調達では紙図面でのやり取りが多く残っており、こうした既存の慣習が生産性向上を阻害する要因となっています。
この課題に対し、3DCADの設計分野で国内トップレベルのシェアを持つiCADと、3Dデータで部品調達が可能なmeviyが協業することで、ものづくり全体のスピード向上を図ってまいります。

協業の概要

Background


With labor shortages due to declining birth rates and an aging population, the manufacturing industry is experiencing a significant shortening of product lifecycles in response to rapidly changing market needs. Although 3D technology is now widely used in design, paper drawings are still common practice in procurement, which has been a factor hindering productivity improvement.
